What can I expect from a second hand item?

Here at ReNappy we pride ourselves on only selling high quality good condition items.

All of our products are inspected, PUL tested, and only strip washed if needed once they arrive with us. With rare exceptions, all of our items are preloved/second hand. Therefore, it is reasonable that there may be some small imperfections, slight staining, or the velcro may need defluffing etc. In item descriptions we do try and say when there are significant deviations from what you might expect. 

Because of the second-hand nature of the items, sometimes they come with different brand inserts or not the full set of inserts you might expect. E.g., We sold a poppets nappy which only came with one of the inserts and it was missing the fishtail insert. This happens because items are either sent in from individual sellers or we buy them second-hand in bundles. It is reasonable to expect some deviations. Where there are differences, we will aim to specify these in the description.  

We do also try our best to list items as accurately as we can. However, we are human and sometimes we might misread whether the item is made of bamboo or a different material (for example). We are listing multiple items regularly and sometimes the inside labels have faded so it is hard to tell. Please do bear with us! 

Some of our items are stored for a number of months before being sold. As I’m sure you would anyway, just pop them in a wash before using so they are nice and fresh when you first use them. Ideally, put them through a strip wash so you can make sure you get rid of any nasties. We will not be held liable for any nappy rashes or ammonia burns or other complaints resulting from use. We will also not be liable for any damage to nappies resulting from being washed incorrectly or not following cloth nappy guidance.
