All the shipping options explained

So, you’ve found a few nappies that you want to buy but the shipping at checkout looks confusing.

Let me explain why this might happen.

Standard ReNappy shop items.
All ReNappy items are posted at a flat rate of £4 (UK customers) whether you’re buying 1 or 20 items from us. Our courier Evri charge slightly more for shipping to NI (we are so sorry about this, we know you’re part of the UK) - so you will pay a flat rate of £5.50 for NI shipping.

Additionally, you now receive free shipping when you spend over £40. This is not automatically applied - use code FREESHIPPING. This applies to anyone in the UK, including Channel Islands and Isle of Man. Free shipping is not eligible on marketplace orders or international customers (yet).

Marketplace items

Postage with the marketplace items works differently.

You find an item that you like from the marketplace. The marketplace is set up a bit like Vinted or eBay so the nappies you see there are all sold from individual sellers, who are located in different parts of the country. So each seller has their own shipping costs attached - just like it would be if you were buying from individual sellers on Vinted or eBay.

Marketplace shipping costs are all worked out based on item weight.

So, if you buy 1 nappy, it will be posted from just the one seller at a rate of either £4/£5(Evri charge the higher rate for posting to NI). If you buy multiple nappies from one individual seller, the total postage will be worked out on weight:

0-1kg: £4/£5 (UK except NI / NI rate)

1-2kg: £5.50/£6.50 (UK except NI / NI rate)

2kg up: £7/8 (UK except NI / NI rate)

If you buy two items from two different sellers, you will pay the above rates to each individual seller (eg £4/£5 to seller 1, and £4/£5to seller 2).

If you buy three items from three different sellers, then you will pay £4/£5 to each seller again.

and so on…

We know this might sound expensive but it is comparable to and competitive with all other famous marketplaces, and we have to charge individual seller postage costs because each seller is responsible for posting out their items. We have kept our shipping costs as low as we can and we are always looking out for cheaper options.

Ways to make postage cheaper:

You can search the marketplace by seller so if you like a few items from one specific seller, you might find that postage is cheaper as all postage costs are worked out on total item(s) weight. Or, you could get in touch with the seller using the contact button on their item page and have a chat about postage costs.
